Gartelmann Sparkling Shiraz is our contribution to an iconic Australian wine style. Richly fruited Shiraz is given an extra dimension from secondary fermentation. The base wines are specially selected for their style and aged in old oak barrels for 12 - 15 months.

Dark berry fruit explodes in the mouth, with some subtle cedar and vanilla notes from the barrel maturation. Excellent balance of fruit, acid, fine tannin and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Serve well chilled.

Cellaring:   Drinking well now, but will also gain complexity over the next two to three years in the bottle.

Food Match:  Turkey, Venison, or any special occaision.
