2018 Diedrich Reserve Shiraz is a Winner!

We admit it . . . we’re pretty chuffed right now. For years the Gartelmann mantra has been to produce the best wine we can at prices that don’t break the bank. But we’re proud to announce we outdid ourselves just recently with our new 2018 Diedrich Shiraz. It was named Best NSW Wine (yes, red or white) at the highly prestigious Sydney Royal Wine Show, one of Australia’s premier wine judging events. To put it simply, it’s the most prestigious award Gartelmann has ever received as it was pitted against the very finest Australia has to offer. While it only hit the shelves recently the 2018 Diedrich already has a swag of show successes (more on that further down in the newsletter) and we recommend it very highly indeed. Generally speaking, it’s bigger and darker than the lovely 2017 vintage - another of our favourites, by the way – with the fruit sourced from Orange.
