This wine is a class act: engaging cassis fruit overture on the nose, blended blackberries and raspberries symphonise on the palate, with only the best of oak nuances and a softly tannic finale. Sublime and delicious.
Cabernet lovers believe it to be the “King of Reds”. Rich in dark cherry flavours with hints of eucalypt, this wine is a real mouthful of flavour balanced by subtle but lasting oak. Guaranteed to make Mum’s Sunday roast come to life.
This “white of whites” is based on Chardonnay grapes, giving it the wonderful elements of that variety: apple and honey characters on the nose, complexity on the palate and the ability to be delicious when young, or superb with age.
Gartelmann Bianka's Sparkling Shiraz is our contribution to an iconic Australian wine style. Richly fruited Shiraz is given an extra dimension from secondary fermentation.
A fun fresh and fruity wine that has just enough sweetness for those who are already sweet enough.
For many years the Benjamin Semillon has been one of our most celebrated and awarded wines, the 2024 vintage is no exception. Made in a traditional Hunter style from only clean, flavor ripe free running juice, this wine was cold fermented in stainless steel capturing the elegance, finesse and structure that Hunter Valley Semillon is famous for.
Steely and dry with fresh citrus and crisp green apple characteristics. Incredible depth of flavour balancing a zippy natural acidity.
Bright, juicy and refreshing with plenty of citrus upfront. Subtle stone fruit on the mid-palate, carried by an unobtrusive toastiness and lingering texture.
The nose is all about pears... just-ripe pears, with an almost-citrus tang and a touch of apple and smoky lanolin. In your mouth this develops with the classic Pinot Gris voluptuously smooth richness, even a slight oiliness, balanced by subtle but long-lived acid that takes the flavours right to the back of the palate where they explode like sherbet for a wonderful lime finale.
A classic Hunter style of Verdelho compared to the recent past’s “lean, mean and green” vogue, this 2024 Jessica exudes passionfruit and pineapple on the nose with a waft of Tahitian lime sherbet.
