2024 Gartelmann Gracie's Ambrosia

NAME: Named after owner Matt Dillow’s mother Gracie.

TASTING NOTES: Gracie’s Ambrosia is a vibrant dessert wine style based on the German Eiswein (Ice Wine) concept.  The fruit is picked at optimum ripeness, without any botrytis influence and then the juice is concentrated via a proprietary cryo-extraction process. Essence of the grape, the wine shows vibrant aromas of candied citrus peel, baked apple and honey.  The palate is sweet and luscious, but the substantial residual sugar is beautifully balanced by vibrant citrusy acid, finishing delightfully clean and refreshing.

FOOD MATCHING: Enjoy with citrus based desserts and vanilla based sweet treats. This wine also marries beautifully with soft ripe cheeses.
